PGEA Services & Projects
On the road to further socio-economic development, public servants are focused on effective public administration and on improving work efficiency. In turn, the government is enjoined to ensure good morale and financial sufficiency for its workforce.
The Philippine Government Employees Association is here to support and promote optimum working conditions, fair employment practices, and a firm commitment to defending workers’ rights. PGEA advocates for fair pay, job security, career growth, and a safe work environment.
Since 1945 we have wholeheartedly served our PGEA members and implemented projects geared toward empowering our fellow government employees. PGEA has served as member of the Convenor Group for the Gawad Kalinga project of government workers, in cooperation with CSC, that promotes a harmonious relationship between management and union. We contributed to the Employees Talaan Convention which produced the standard checklist of Reasonable Working Conditions in the Public Sector, later codified in CSC MC 30, S 1994.
